Mace (* 1982 in Milan as Simone Benussi) is an Italian music producer and DJ. Mace began his career as part of the DJ duo La Crème with rapper Jack the Smoker. The duo made a name for themselves in the Italian hip-hop scene and released the album L’alba in 2003. He then worked as a producer for a number of well-known Italian rappers, including Mondo Marcio, Bassi Maestro, Ghemon, Clementino, Noyz Narcos, Jake La Furia and Gemitaiz. From 2007 he turned to electronic music and was part of the electro collective Reset! active. The collective released the album Future Madness on Sony in 2013. In addition, the producer gained international experience.
