Magnetic Anomaly is a Russian rock band founded by Anton Vartanov in 1996. In 1999, Anton Vartanov and Valery Zhuravlev had a lot of disagreements, as a result, one of the founders left the group. In 2000 Anton Vartanov starts recording an album in Moscow. In 2001, the group released their debut album Clouds in Lipstick (consisting of Anton's early songs) on REAL Records, got into the rotation of Nashe Radio and made their debut at the INVASTION festival. The producer of the debut disc was Sergey Mazaev.
