Marília Mendonça (Cristianópolis, July 22, 1995) - popularly known as "Musa de la 'Sofrência'" -, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter of Sertaneja music, winner of the 2017 Trophy Press. Despite being born in the municipality From Cristianopolis, which is 90 kilometers away from the capital of Goiás, the singer says that she always lived in Goiânia, and that her birth in the interior is due to her father's friendship with a city doctor. Marília had her first contact with music in the church, having started her compositions around the age of twelve.
