Mikhail Vladimirovich Sheleg (born September 27, 1955, Korsakov, Sakhalin Region) is a Russian singer, poet, writer, musician, composer, arranger, and author-performer of Russian chanson. His partners on stage at different times were the rock groups “August”, “Aquarium”, “Brigada S”, “AuktYon”, “DDT”, “Picnic”. Mikhail also toured the Soviet Union extensively with pop and film artists, with whom he also organized joint performances. In 1993, Sheleg was invited to Leningrad Television, where he hosted the author’s program “Northern Chanson”.
