Murat Anatolyevich Tkhagalegov (Kabard.-Cherk. Tkhegeledzh Murat; born July 30, 1984, Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian singer, musician, performing in Kabardian, Adyghe and Russian. Before becoming a singer, Murat Tkhagalegov worked in Nalchik at a concrete plant, where he had the idea to present his voice to the public. An old friend A. Geryugov helped him to enter the big stage. Secretly from relatives, after work, he visited a recording studio and sang. On September 28, 2010 he gave his first solo concert in Moscow. Later he gave solo concerts in more than twenty cities of Russia. The peak of popularity came in 2011-2012.
