Nariman Gilyazetdinovich Sabitov (Bash. Sabitov, Nariman Гиляжетдин улы, Tat. Sabitov, Nariman Гилязетдин улы) (1925–1971) is a Soviet Bashkir composer, Honored Artist of the Bashkir ASSR (1961). Laureate of the Salavat Yulaev Republican Prize (1972). In 1946 he graduated from the Bashkir Department of the Moscow Conservatory in the composition class of V. A. Bely and the conducting class of I. D. Druzhinin, in 1953 - the Moscow Conservatory in the composition class of A. N. Alexandrov. In 1953-1967 - the chief conductor of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater. Nariman Gilyazetdinovich conducted more than 30 performances at the theater. With his participation, more than 20 compositions of foreign, Russian and Bashkir composers were composed. From 1953 to 1971, he combined the work of the conductor of the Bashkir State Theater of Opera and Ballet with composing and concert-educational activities.
