Natalia Gura is a Ukrainian jazz and blues singer. She was born in Donetsk into a family of professional singers. After graduating from music school, she entered the Korneichuk Kyiv State Institute of Culture, Department of Choral Singing. In her second year, she decided to devote herself to jazz and began working on preparing jazz vocals. Since 1993, she has been a soloist of the Jazz Impromptu ensemble. In 1997, she began collaborating with pianist Vyacheslav Polyansky. In 2002, the singer's first solo concert took place in the Great Hall of the Kyiv Conservatory. As a backing vocalist, she gained fame after performing Verka Serduchka's song "Lasha Tumbay". Natalia Gura is also an actress. Her film career lasted from 1983 to 2017, she starred in films in the melodrama, drama, and history genres.
