Natalya Nikolayevna Platitsyna (November 7, 1961, Dushanbe – January 22, 1999, Moscow) was a Soviet and Russian singer, poet, artist, and vocalist for the band "07." She graduated as an external student from the A. I. Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (St. Petersburg) and the I. Rakhlin Theatre School. In 1987, she formed the band "07" in Arkhangelsk with musician Vladimir Sushko. Natalya Platitsyna and the band "07" gained nationwide fame in 1990 after the airing of the music video for the song "Light the Candles" on Central Television. Natalya wrote the lyrics and Vladimir Sushko wrote the music. The video, directed by renowned Leningrad director and cameraman Boris Dedenyov, was filmed during the band's performance at the Yubileiny Sports Palace. Later, Natalia will perform this song at the New Year's TV show of the new year 1991.
