Alexey Mikhailovich Fokin (creative pseudonym Nikita; born February 20, 1975, Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov region, RSFSR) is a Russian pop singer. Nikita began his professional career in 1999 in St. Petersburg. There he meets the then unknown young musician Oleg Korovin and DJ Groove. DJ Groove brings the songs they recorded to Moscow. He shows them to the famous producer Yuri Shmilevich Aizenshpis. Yuri Aizenshpis invites Nikita to Moscow and offers him a contract, after signing which the singer releases his debut album “Fly Away Forever”. A year after the release of the album, the songs “Flew Away Forever”, “You Came From the Sky” and “Once Upon a Time” received recognition.
