Oleg Kvasha compositions sheet music and chords

Oleg Semenovich Kvasha (Russian: Олег Семёнович Кваша; born 13 September 1958 in Klaipėda) is a Russian musician and composer, author of songs very popular in Russia and the Soviet Union such as "Зеленоглазое такси" ("Zelenoglazoe Taksi"), popularized by Mikhail Boyarsky. He graduated from the Music School in 1982 at the Lithuanian State Conservatory. He later moved to Leningrad and later worked as a night watchman in a club. Oleg Kvasha's breakthrough career began with songs like "Krysolov" (Rat Catcher), written in 1982. This single immediately attracted the attention of star Alla Pugacheva, but Soviet ideologues disliked the song, and it was shelved for almost five years. In 1989, during the Soviet Song Festival in Zielona Góra, Oleg Kvasha and Irina Ponarovskaya received first prize for "I Don't Want to Lose You." Together with Valery Panfilov he was the author of the unofficial anthem of St. Petersburg "Санкт-Петербург — гордая белая птица" (St. Petersburg - a proud white bird).
