Oleg Yakovlevich Ukhnalyov (November 27, 1946, Gorky – August 14, 2005, Krasnogorsk) was a Soviet and Russian pop singer (baritone), People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1998). In 1962, when his family was living in Kaliningrad, at the insistence of his father, he joined the Baltic Fleet Song and Dance Ensemble as a cabin boy at the age of 16, with which he participated in many concerts. In 1968, he participated in a competition for the best performance of a Soviet youth song with David Tukhmanov's song "While Young." In 1970, he successfully graduated from the conservatory. He is best known for his performance of the song "Rain and Me" by Roman Mayorov, with lyrics by Onegin Gadzhikasimov. Oleg Ukhnalyov was friends with Muslim Magomayev and Valery Obodzinsky. He collaborated with many ensembles, including Yuri Saulsky's VIO-66, the Alexander Tartakovsky Quartet, the Sovremennik Orchestra, and the RSFSR Variety Orchestra conducted by Leonid Utesov. He worked at the Batumi, Vladimir, and Syktyvkar Philharmonics and toured throughout the country.
