Yuri Vladislavovich Barabash (stage name - Petlyura; April 14, 1974, Stavropol Territory - September 27, 1996, Moscow) - songwriter of the Russian chanson and thieves song. Many confuse him with Victor Petlyura, whose first album was released three years before the death of Yuri. He was a difficult teenager. He received the nickname "Petlyura" at the school, where he was nicknamed Yura-Petlyura for hooligan inclinations (by analogy with the Ukrainian political figure of the Civil War, Simon Petlyura).
