Philippine Lavrey is a candidate for Season 5 of The Voice. Originally from Le Havre, Philippine discovered music at an early age. Perfectly self-taught, she learned the piano at the age of 5, then joined her mother in an accordion club where she played percussion and then the accordion. It was only at the age of 13 that she decided to learn singing and guitar on her own. Music remains only a passion for Filipina and after a literary baccalaureate, she then embarks on studies to become a social animator. Since then, she has worked as an animator in a kindergarten.
