Ra'is (real name: Omar Omeirat, born 1995) is a German-speaking rapper of Lebanese descent. He is currently signed to the Alles oder Nix Records label. Ra'is' parents come from Beirut, he grew up in the district town of Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony and attended the Erich Kästner Hauptschule there. In 2013, after graduating and training, he ran the pizzeria "La Familia" in Hanover and then worked at Louis Vuitton. According to his own statements, he lived for a while in Goslar – also a city in Lower Saxony. Ra'is was arrested for the first time in May 2018. He later began serving his sentence and was released in 2018.
