Raisa Shcherbakova is a performer of folk and Cossack songs and a soloist with the State Song and Dance Ensemble "Kazachya Volya." She was born on October 28, 1981, in the workers' settlement of Nizhny Chir, Surovikinsky District, Volgograd Region. She made her stage debut at the age of five, singing "The Dark Night Faded," a song taught to her by her grandmother. She earned two higher education degrees: from the Volgograd State Institute of Arts and Culture, and in the second half of the 2000s, she studied at the Volgograd State Pedagogical University. In 2003, she joined the "Kazachya Volya" ensemble and soon became its soloist. She has participated in the recordings of the compilations "Andalusian Night" and "Gold of the Quiet Don." In 2021, she won the Grand Prix in the "Folk Vocal and Folklore" category at the "Talents of Russia" international competition and festival. In 2021, she became a participant in the program "Hello, Andrey!". Andrey Malakhov subsequently invited her to appear on the show on several occasions.
