Rufus Edward Martin 42, was born in Downers Grove, IL. Both his Mother and Father were musically inclined and this trait obviously carried on in Rufus. 5 sisters and 4 brothers made him into a family person but also forced him to to develop his own character and personality. He moved in 1998 to Orlando, FL to work for Walt Disney World in the Festival of the Lion King Show. After 2 years he was picked to be in a Boy group and moved To Munich, Germany in 2001 and signed a deal with Warner Music. Even as the project broke apart after 2 years he stayed and started working with different producers. In 2005 he wrote “Fly Away” with Jean Claude Ades, it went to the top of the charts in Australia, China, Indonesia and Brazil.
