Sam Ryder Robinson, better known as Sam Ryder, is a singer/songwriter and rhythm guitarist from Essex, England. He has worked in the music industry since 2009, starting out with rock band The Morning After. The band released the metalcore album You Can't Hurt Steel on July 6, 2009 to positive reviews. They followed up with Legacy in 2011. In 2010, while a member of The Morning After, Ryder stepped in to fill the place of Casey Jones, backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist of Blessed By A Broken Heart, a glam rock band that was touring Europe at the time. Jones had dropped out of the tour to attend the birth of his first child. In July 2012, Ryder joined the band full time, and appeared on their single "Out of Control".
