Schmyt (real name Julian Paul Schmit) is a German. From 2007 he was the singer of the band Rakede, until they broke up in 2020 and a collaboration, which was followed a month later by the debut single Nobody, heralded the beginning of his solo career. The debut album Universum regelt was released in 2022. Schmyt signed an exclusive worldwide author contract with Universal Music Publishing and participated in live performances and studio recordings of other musicians.
