Severino Seeger (born November 28, 1986 in Frankfurt am Main) is a German pop singer. He became known as the winner of the 12th season of the RTL casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS) and uses his first name Severino as his stage name. Severino's mother is a German Sintiza, his father was Italian; he died when his son was 15 years old. Severino broke off training as a hairdresser. He then worked as a warehouse clerk and later as a call center employee. He performed with a Blues Brothers cover band as a singer at festivals. He has played his own compositions with his band Sev’n Beat since 2014. Severino has lived in Büdingen since 2017.
