Bernd Simon (German: Bernd Cornelius Simon; August 24, 1946, Hamburg - November 27, 2017, Munich) was a German pop singer, record producer and voice actor. At the turn of the 1960-1970s. began working in Germany as a producer, including representing the interests of such foreign pop stars as Agnetha Fältskog and Daniel Gerard in the country. In 1973, taking the pseudonym Simon Butterfly, he performed his most famous song, Rain, Rain, Rain. This song, however, gained the greatest fame in the form of a French cover version performed by Marie Laforet (Viens, viens), there is also a Russian version of "Rain" by Biser Kirov, as well as a cover version by Edita Piekha.
