"Falcon" - the first Soviet rock band (then they were called beat bands), the "legend" of Russian rock. The group was formed at the end of 1964 in Moscow on the initiative of guitarist Yuri Ermakov. The composition also included Igor Goncharuk, Vyacheslav Chernysh, Sergey Timashev. The group’s first administrator was Yuri Aizenshpis. The name is associated with the Moscow district of Sokol, where members of the group lived. Like all early Soviet groups, the Falcon’s repertoire was based on the works of Western pop and rock stars. In 1968, "Falcon", like VIA, recorded the song "Film, film" for the animated film by F. Khitruk "Film, film, film." At the end of 1969, the group broke up.
