Sophia (own spelling SOPHIA), actually Sophia Bauckloh (born June 30, 1995), is a German pop singer and composer from Wetter in North Rhine-Westphalia. Sophia Bauckloh attended the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium Wetter. From around the beginning of 2010 she received professional singing lessons at a music school in Wetter-Volmarstein. After graduating from high school in 2013, she trained as a goldsmith. In 2021 she began to publish her self-composed songs on the video portal TikTok and the social network Instagram, where they quickly became successful. Sophia sent some of the songs published there to the producer duo Achtabahn (Kevin Zaremba and Matthias Kurpiers) in 2021. In September 2021 her debut single was released, which was in the German single charts for three weeks in October 2021.
