Svetlana Ternova is a performer in the genre of Russian chanson and urban romance. She was born in 1981 in Tver. She first appeared on the professional stage in 1992 as part of the ensemble "Assorti". She participated in pop music competitions in Tver and jazz festivals. In 1996, she took part in the competition "Morning Star". Laureate of the competition "Zavolzhye 97". She graduated from the Gnessin Music College. Since February 1997, she has worked for Mikhail Krug as a new soloist and backing vocalist. Svetlana's voice can be heard on M. Krug's albums "Rose" (1999) and "Mouse" (2000).
