The Romen Trio (from the Romani word "romen" meaning "gypsy," belonging to the Romani people) was a Romani vocal and instrumental ensemble popular in the 1970s. The ensemble included artists from the Moscow Romani Theater "Romen": Igraf Ioshka, Valentina Ponomareva, and Georgy Kvik. The ensemble was founded by Igraf Ioshka in 1973. The trio performed Romani folk songs and romances, as well as original songs.
