Smile is a female vocal quartet that worked on the Soviet stage in the 1950s-1980s. In 1955, graduates of the music school at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory organized a vocal quartet. The first members of the quartet were Roza Romanovskaya (leader), Ella Olkhovskaya, Zoya Kulikova, Inna Myasnikova. Fame came to the young singers of the quartet after the film "Carnival Night" (1956), where the quartet sang the song "Five Minutes" with Lyudmila Gurchenko. In 1960, soloists Zoya Kharabadze (Kulikova) and Inna Myasnikova separated and formed the Accord vocal quartet.
