Vadim Azarkh is a Russian singer and composer, also known by his stage name VAD. He was born on January 17, 1974, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In 1993, he won the Audience Award at the "Shlyager-93" competition and the "Golden Egg" at the "Slavic Bazaar" festival in Belarus. He collaborated with Leonid Agutin, who recorded the song "Otpusti" (Let Go) for him. In 2001, Azarkh, under the stage name Bad Vad, became the host of the NTV music program "Pepsi Chart." In 2003, he was a finalist in the "New Wave" competition. He was the vocalist and keyboardist for the London-based band The Odd Dogs and recorded a solo album, "From Russia with Love," with Dani Zagrel. In 2013, he competed in the second season of "The Voice," joining Dima Bilan's team.
