Vadim Kotelnikov (December 2, 1962 – February 20, 2014) was a musician, guitarist for the band Mongol Shuudan, and founder of the band Klinika (Clinic). Kotelnikov had been with Mongol Shuudan since 2003, with a brief hiatus in 2007 when Pavel Vlasov replaced him. Kotelnikov and the band recorded four albums and three singles, including an acoustic duet with Valery Skoroded titled "Eternal Frost." Vadim Kotelnikov also co-founded the band Klinika (Clinic) with Yuri Moshechkov. The band played heavy metal and was considered one of the most fun and technically accomplished in the USSR. Vadim Kotelnikov died of cardiac arrest at the age of 51.
