Valery Vladimirovich Semin (born May 19, 1966, Syzran) is a Russian accordion player, arranger, singer, composer, television and radio host. Creator, artistic director of the White Day group. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2015). In May 1990, Valery Semin creates from the students of the G.M. Gnesins Russian Academy of Music named after the Gnesins, laureates of the IV All-Russian Competition of Performers on Russian Folk Instruments, Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) group "White Day". The repertoire consisted of works of Russian and foreign classics (Bach, Mozart, Paganini, Strauss, Lyadov, etc.), as well as of Russian folk songs and works processed by V. Semin and other authors.
