"Visokosny God" is a Soviet and Russian pop-rock band from the Moscow region town of Fryazino, created by Ilya Kalinnikov, the songwriter, vocalist and guitarist of the band. On July 3, 2019, the band officially broke up after Kalinnikov's death. In 1988, the band "Visokosny God" arose as a "concept" in the mind of Ilya Kalinnikov, when he was contemplating the landscape from the window of the Fryazino-Moscow train and writing a song. He thought it would be good to call this song "Visokosny God". Then he thought it would be good to name the band that. And so it happened. And the song "Visokosny God" remained unfinished.
