Vitaly Alekseevich Dubinin (born October 9, 1958, Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian rock musician, composer, bass guitarist and backing vocalist for the band Aria, the author of most of its works (he wrote more than 60 songs). Since April 2008, he has been the sole owner of the Aria brand. His co-author from 1987 to 1998 was his college classmate Vladimir Kholstinin. Together with him, he is the leader of Aria. After almost the entire first lineup of Aria left, he is the second permanent member of the band. In 1975, he entered the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, where he met Vladimir Kholstinin. Together with him, in 1976, he became the founder of the college rock group Magic Twilight, in which he was the bass player and vocalist, as well as the author of some of the repertoire. In 1982, with the participation of Vladimir Kholstinin, he recorded the album “Autumn”, which was published only in 2009.
