Vitaly Tikhonenkov is a singer-songwriter. He was born on December 19, 1962 in the Polish city of Legnica in a military family. Due to his father's service, Vitaly, his parents, brother and sister often moved to different cities and republics, so he graduated from school in Uzbekistan. In 1984, Vitaly graduated from the Uzbek State Institute of Physical Culture, then served for two years in the Armed Forces of the USSR and in 1986, while working as a sports correspondent, he entered the Tashkent State University in absentia, Faculty of Journalism. In 2005, he moved with his family to Moscow. In 2010, Vitaly Tikhonenkov's debut album "Don't Doubt" was released, and in 2014 - his second disc "Our Angels". Since then, he has been writing and performing mainly songs in which the issue of choice of a person seeking solid spiritual guidelines in life comes first. Vitaly is an active participant in the project "Common Cause. Revival of Wooden Churches of the North". Since 2020, he has served as a full-time altar boy at the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov in Raevo.
