Vlad Malenko is a Russian poet and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2023). He was born on January 25, 1971 in Moscow. He was interested in poetry from the age of seven. In 1995, he graduated from the acting department of the Shchepkin Higher Theater School at the Maly Theater in Moscow (course of Professor Nikolai Afonin). He served as a leading actor of the Moscow Taganka Theater for 20 years. He hosted the TV programs "Under 16 and Over ...", "Tete-a-tete", "Dolls" and others. He was a war correspondent. Author of numerous poetry collections. Founder and director of the Moscow Theater of Poets. Artistic director of the Moscow Yesenin Museum and the Yesenin Center poetry laboratory, the Filatov Fest poetry festival. On April 5, 2019, he received gratitude from President Putin for his services to the development of Russian culture and art.
