Vladimir Pavlovich Makarov (Makarkin) (July 15, 1932, the village of Dubna, Tula Region - July 29, 2008, Moscow) - Soviet and Russian singer, lyric baritone. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1984). He served his sentence in one of the colonies of the Kolyma region, where he became a member of the ensemble of prisoners, whose artistic director was Vadim Kozin. There, Vladimir met another prisoner - Eddie Rosner, in whose ensemble he performed for some time. In 1966, Vladimir Makarov became a laureate of the 1st All-Union Variety Artists Competition in Moscow.
