Vladimir Yuryevich Zakharov (born May 12, 1967, Vorsma) is a Soviet and Russian singer, composer, arranger and music producer. The leader of the Rock Islands group since its foundation in 1986. He graduated from the Pavlovsk Art College, has a specialty as an engraver. He achieved his first success as a musician and performer in 1986 at the first Gorky rock festival, where the newly formed Rock Islands group became a laureate.
