Vladislav Vasilyevich Medyanik (born January 28, 1957, Krasnoyarsk) is a Russian chanson performer, known as Slava Medyanik. Laureate of the Chanson of the Year awards. In 1972, Medyanik created his own ensemble, but a serious musical career began later - after meeting with Arkady Severny. Since 1977, Slava Medyanik begins performing in restaurants in the city of Izmail, where he became one of the most famous performers. By the end of 1980 he was invited as a vocalist to Chernivtsi, to the "Zhiva Voda" group. After the breakup of the group, he returned to Izmail. In 1983 he opened a recording studio in Krasnoyarsk, duplicating cassettes. In 1985 he began performing in the "Visit" group. Since 1989 he has been singing solo.
