"Vostok" is a Russian musical pop group. She gained fame thanks to such hits as “Mirages”, “See You”, “Dance of the Yellow Leaves”, “The Snow Queen”. Having signed a contract with Tolmatsky in 1996, the group changed its name to “Vostok”. The first video clip was shot for the song “Mirages”. According to the ITAR-TASS hit parade, the song “Mirages” took 36th place in Moscow. In the summer of 1999, it became known about the collapse of the team. On May 28, 2009, the Vostok group reunited to perform at the fifth anniversary party of Retro FM radio. Since 2019, Gennady Filippov and his new soloist Natalya Rodina have been performing as the Vostok group, and former soloists Larisa Filippova-Yudchits and Natalya Sigaeva as a duet called VostokBand.
