Yuri Vladimirovich Pryalkin (March 25, 1954 – March 21, 2008) was a Soviet and Russian pianist, violinist, composer, arranger, music producer and teacher. He was born in Moscow. In 1978, he graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory in violin. He began writing music in 1977. He has written music for 120 theatrical productions. He worked at the Gogol Theater (since 1991), the M. N. Yermolova Theater, the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, the Central Children's Theater, and also collaborated with many other groups. He worked for a long time with the singer Vika Tsyganova, writing about 60 songs for her. He worked in film and television. He is the author of musical accompaniment to many films and television films, cartoons (one of his iconic works is Dunno on the Moon) and television programs (Comedy Club). He composed more than 200 instrumental pieces and is the author of many symphonic and chamber works.
