Yuri Grigorievich Zykov (September 28, 1947, Tselinnoye village, Altai Krai – July 21, 2015, Zlatoust) was a Zlatoust poet and bard, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation (2004), laureate of the Pudovkin Brothers and Konstantin Skvortsov Prizes, laureate of the main literary prize named after John Chrysostom, and multiple laureate and jury member of art song festivals. He began writing poetry during his school years. He developed his literary talent in the school literary group "Oasis." He became a member of the city literary association "Marten" in the second half of the 1960s. Since then, he has published in print, and not only as a poet; he devotes much attention to journalism and prose. He began writing songs to his own lyrics in 1973, inspired by a rafting trip down the Chusovaya River. In 1978, he became one of the organizers of the city's original song club and, since 1979, of the Black Rock festival. He has been a regular participant in the Grushinsky festivals. In 1979, at the XXII Grushinsky festival, Y. Zykov's song "On the Kuibyshev Wave" was awarded a special prize.
