FRANKY is a Russian pop-rock band. The group was formed in 2011 by Taras Demchuk and Dan Khrushchev. They wrote songs together and posted them on the Internet until the director of the popular series "Closed School" began to use them as soundtracks. This brought the group popularity. Musicians Max Stepichev, Kostya Kayuki and Oleg Shum joined the group, and already in 2013, with the support of the First Musical Publishing House, the group released their debut album Hysteria. On March 8, 2018, the group announced that now Dan Khrushchev remains the only permanent member, Taras and Max are busy with their own projects.
