BoomBox is a Ukrainian band founded in 2004 by vocalist Andriy Khlyvnyuk and guitarist Andriy Samoilo. The group quickly grew from a small project into one of the most recognizable names on the local scene. Their songs are known across Ukraine and the former CIS, and many listeners use them to learn modern Ukrainian repertoire on ukulele.
BoomBox blends rock, pop-rock, funk-rock, reggae, and hip-hop. The band performs mainly in Ukrainian, with some songs in Russian and English. Among well-known releases are “Vakhtyoram,” “Trymai mene,” and “Vechir v Rio.” Fans often search for ukulele chords to play these tracks in a simple and expressive way.
The band achieved major popularity from the mid-2000s through the 2010s, with charting songs, radio and TV rotation, and large tours in Europe and North America. In the 2020s BoomBox remains active, including concerts linked with support for Ukraine. On this Note-store.com page, you can download sheet music for selected songs in PDF format. MIDI files are also available to help you play and practice conveniently.
