Jasmine, born Sara Lvovna Manakhimova and later Shor, is a Russian pop singer of Mountain Jewish origin, also known as an actress, TV host, and model. She was born in Derbent in a musical family. Many listeners learn her through the hits “Kak ty mne nuzhen” and “Toropishsya slishkom”.

Her music belongs to pop and estrada, combining melodic songs with a bright stage manner. Jasmine became especially popular in the late 1990s and 2000s. Among her recognized tracks are “Resnichka” and “Samyy lyubimyy”. Her repertoire is often arranged for violin.
