The group “Босиком по солнцу” was created in Novy Urengoy by students of the local gas industry technical school in 2001. The lineup included soloist Veronika Farafonova and musicians Leonid Bychek, Igor Pilipenko, Denis Naida, Pavel Mazurenko, Alexander Skomarovsky and a girl named Alena (her last name did not remain in history). As Veronica told Andrei Malakhov 20 years later, she had been dancing since childhood, and became the lead singer of the group because at the age of 16 “there was nothing else to do.”
