Poplyanova Elena Mikhailovna (born July 11, 1961 in Chelyabinsk) is a Russian composer. In 1980 she graduated fr om the theoretical department of the Chelyabinsk Musical College named. P.I. Tchaikovsky, wh ere she studied composition in the class of Yu.E. Halperin. 1981 to 1986 - studies at the Leningrad State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of V. Uspensky). She began composing music at the age of 10. The first songs were written at the children's music school.
