Evgeny Mikhailovich Belyaev (1926-1994) — Soviet and Russian singer (lyric tenor). People's Artist of the USSR (1967). Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1978). Evgeny Belyaev was born on September 11, 1926 in the city of Klintsy, Gomel Governorate, RSFSR (now in Bryansk Oblast, Russia). At the end of 1944, he was drafted into the Red Army. For his military distinctions in the war, he was awarded the Medal "For Courage". Since 1947 - soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Carpathian Military District, in 1953-1955 - the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Kyiv Military District, since 1955 - the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Army named after A.V.
