Irina Kirillovna Khrisanidi is a teacher, choirmaster, virtuoso pianist, composer, known not only in Russia but also abroad. Member of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation, author of numerous songs for children, choral and instrumental works, arrangements, adaptations, as well as children's operas "Fly-Tsokotukha" (1994), "Cinderella" (2002), music for the puppet show "The Miracle Apple" (1994), musicals "Her Majesty - Toothbrush" (2006), "Tom Sawyer and His Friends" (2007), music for the dramatic play "Mother Courage and Her Children" (2008). Works at the Oryol Children's Music School No. 1 named after V.S. Kalinnikov as a teacher of choir, vocals, composition, piano. Since 1993, she has been teaching the children's vocal ensemble "Semitsvetik" and its senior groups "Assol", "Novy Den", which received the honorary title of "Model Group" in 2003. On August 1, 2013, Irina Khrisanidi's name was entered into the Book of Honor of the city of Orel.
