Karandash (real name Denis Nikolayevich Grigoriev; born March 10, 1981, Novocheboksarsk) is a Russian rap artist, music producer, arranger, former member of the rap group "The District of My Dreams". In addition to ten solo albums, Denis also has a series of author's podcasts "Profession: Rapper", as well as work on the musical arrangement of the film "Dust". He worked as the head of the computer graphics department at the Russia 1 TV channel. The musician's career began in the mid-1990s in the city of Cheboksary in the Party'ya project, which later merged with the Nizhny Novgorod band Non-Condition to form the District of My Dreams group.
