Khaidar Abbyasovich Bigichev (Tatar: Хәйдәр Әмбәс улы Бигичев; June 16, 1949 – November 13, 1998) was a singer (dramatic tenor), soloist of the Musa Jalil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater, People's Artist of the Tatar ASSR (1980), Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1986), and laureate of the Gabdulla Tukay State Prize of the Tatar ASSR (1984). After serving in the Soviet Army, Bigichev went to Moscow and worked at a factory. On the advice of a friend, he participated in the All-Union television competition "Hello, We Are Looking for Talents!", where he won a prize. The chairman of the competition's jury, composer M. Tariverdiev, highly praised the young performer's talent and advised him to pursue music professionally.
