Hasso Menowin Fröhlich is a German pop singer. He participated in the German casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS) in 2005, 2010, and 2016, winning in 2016. Fröhlich was born in Munich in 1987 and grew up in the housing estate near Lerchenauer See. He comes from a Sinti family. His middle name, "Menowin," was inspired by the name of the violin virtuoso Yehudi Menuhin.
