Nazira Yapparova is a Tatar folk singer, composer, poet, producer, and conductor (director of the Academic Choir). Her work focuses on preserving Tatar culture; she produces music videos and performs in concerts. She has participated in cultural events and music marathons in Bashkortostan cities such as Neftekamsk and Yanaul. In 2003, Yapparova's first audio album was released, while she was the vocalist for the Bashkir pop and folk group of the Sterlitamak State Philharmonic. In 2008–2009, she performed a solo concert, "Gomer Yullary" ("Roads of Life"), at the Nur Theater in Ufa. In 2012, she participated in the theatrical performance "Nurly Sefer" ("Finding Light on the Road") as a musical director, composer, lyric translator, and singer. Yapparova is a laureate of regional and interregional competitions for professional pop composers and vocalists.
