"RAYTER" is a Russian thriller-punk band from St. Petersburg, founded in 2019 by Alexander Reiter, a native of Novosibirsk's Akademgorodok. The band is renowned for its dark atmosphere, mystical lyrics, and unique sound, inspired by post-punk and Russian rock. The project began its journey in 2019. The band's music is often compared to Kino, Korol i Shut, and PLOHO, but with the addition of distinct horror and thriller themes (fears, ghosts, loneliness, and mysticism). Most of the members and the sound engineer relocated to St. Petersburg from Novosibirsk. Their debut album, "Vse ne zarya," was released in the summer of 2020.
